Coral bleaching has already been observed in Masinloc, Zambales and Lian, Batangas as of May 22, 2010.

NOAA Coral Reef Watch has put up warning for South China Sea. If you observe coral bleaching in your area, please report it on this website through the Maps menu or fill up this form

Linking EBM Tools with the Coral Triangle Initiative Print E-mail

LGU Partners Attend the 10th National Symposium on Marine Sciences Print E-mail

Representatives from seven out of the 10 partner LGUs of the EBM Tools Demonstration Project "FindFishSup" attended the 10th National Symposium on Marine Sciences (NSMS) last October 22-24, 2009 at Eden Nature Park and Resort, Toril, Davao City. The symposium was organized by the Philippine Association of Marine Science and hosted by UP Mindanao. The NSMS is held every other year to bring together researchers and practitioners of marine science from all over the country and some international participants so that they can share their research findings and experiences and be updated on recent development activities in the field of marine science.

This year's theme is From Ridge to Reefs: A Transdisciplinary Approach to the Marine Sciences.
